We’ve been traveling across Iceland from one introduction to the next, and one of the threads ends here. We’ve been introduced, from one person to the next, all the way from #reykjavik to #akureyri.
This path started at a sheep round up and led past the waterfalls and on to a chicken coop, a dairy farm and finally here, to the home of Alfreð þórólfsson and Hildigunnur Jóhannesdöttir in northern Iceland near Dalvík.
These two invited us into their home before they knew anything about #meetthenorth. This scene is repeating itself all over the country: get out the map and tell some stories.
Step by step we discover how people are connected to each other and to the land.
