“When we walked into this house and looked at the view, we had already decided.” That was ten years ago when Eyguló and her husband moved to Stóri Kambur farm. Eyguló is a cousin to Olga, who sent us here from the sheep round up a couple of days ago.

This farm has ocean out in front, mountains behind and the glacier around the corner. It’s on the Snæsfellsnes peninsula, which has a diversity of landforms—enough to be considered Iceland in miniature. “The mountains have different colours everyday.” Waffles and stories were waiting for us in the kitchen.
