The Cup comes to Baffin Island

The Stanley Cup is coming to Pond Inlet on Baffin Island!! Yes, the real Stanley Cup! Eleanor Pitseolak and Samuel Arreak announced a ‘special visitor’ yesterday on local radio. The cup flies in for a 2 hour visit on April 29, and the hamlet is making plans for a once in a lifetime event. This is a big time hockey town with many articles of handmade fan wear.
