Aimless wandering

Springtime looks different around the Arctic Circle, but don’t let the snow fool you. Renewal is in the air, no matter the temperature. It’s early morning here, and I’m snowshoeing deeper into this valley . . . for no particular reason. We wanted to get some early morning photos on the theme of human migration, but mostly we set out to explore. After Eric Guth took this photo, we went our separate ways for a few hours. Because spring is the season for aimless wandering, and the tundra is the perfect place to follow your curiousity.

I was reading about renewal this morning, “The greater the performance demand, the greater need for renewal.” This seems obvious, but we so often do the opposite. .
