We’re going to Russia

On the subject of friends and mentors, whom I’ve been thinking about all day, how does this photo represent what’s next for us? .

This is my Russian teacher, Yuriy. Look at that smile!
That’s right, we’re going to Russia! Tomorrow! Well, that’s the plan anyway.

We’ll be in Russia’s Far East for six weeks, and I haven’t said much about it because there was so much uncertainty for so long. But now it’s happening, and Yuriy has been one of many people who have made time and space to support this idea. .
I’ve been looking at maps of Russia’s north since I was 22. It’s time to go and see for myself.
