Get up early

We are working with National Geographic Expeditions this week to share some words and images from South Georgia. I was there for the first time this season and Oh la la!!!

Sunrise, South Georgia. It’s peaceful but not quiet. Waves lap the shore, penguins call, seals and sea lions squawk and roar. This island gives us time to pause and reflect on the meaning of wildness. It’s good to get up early.
